Only broadband Internet service is required for gTalk PBX to work. gTalk PBX Apps work on WiFi/3G/4G LTE Data Networks.
Approximately 32kbps duplex bandwidth is required for a single gTalk PBX extension to work. In other words a one Mbps (Megabits) duplex Internet bandwidth is sufficient to handle over 30 extension i.e. 30 simultaneous calls.
No, router is NOT a part of gTalk PBX service itself. However, you possibly have a router installed is your office that came with your Internet service.
gTalk PBX mainly offers three packages for businesses which are (i) Business Basic, (ii) Business Classic, and (iii) Business Plus.
The gTalk PBX is an cloud based hosted PBX service for businesses. It does not require expensive third party equipment to be installed in your premises and so there is no need for the user to bother about its maintenance. Since it is based on the same Internet service your business is using and does not require any traditional phone lines to be subscribed, the service is very economic. The service is highly scalable with very short lead time and is extendible to any parts of the globe by its mobile App.
Busy Lamp Field (BLF) service is a feature that indicates by color of particular set of buttons of your IP phone set the state of use (engagement) of individual extensions in your office PBX system. Color of button Green, Red, and blinking Yellow indicates if the corresponding extension is 'free', 'busy', or 'a call is ringing' respectively. Some IP phone sets (a) have built in BLF keys, (b) have provision to attach a BLF panel, and (c) do not have any built in or provision for BLF keys. BLF is an optional add-on service that a gTalk PBX customer may subscribe for a nominal monthly fees.

Yes, all gTalk PBX customers may subscribe BLF feature as an add-on service. The service costs $2 per extension per month. However please check with gTalk if your existing IP phone sets are BLF enabled. If not you may have to change your IP phone sets or may have to add a BLF panel to every IP Phone set to make those BLF enabled.
Implementation of BLF feature requires some customization and so please talk to you gTalk PBX for details. Cisco SPA IP phone sets of series 500 or above ( e.g. 508G and 525G etc. ) have limited number of built in BLF keys but have provision to attach BLF panels those could add large number of BLF keys. Grandstream GSX2130 IP Phone set has built in 8 BLF keys. Gransdtream GSX2140 IP phone set has provision for attaching BLF panel with large number of BLF keys.

Yes, we can arrange for a demonstration of gTalk PBX system for your evaluation. In city demonestration is free. For out of town demonstration there may be a small cost associated with purchase of IP Phone sets and shipment. This cost may be waived if you sign on to the service.
No, no equipment is needed to be installed for gTalk PBX service. However you will need to either use IP phone sets or IP devices with traditional phone sets to enjoy gTalk PBX service.
IP Phone sets look like typical office phones, except that they plug into Internet jack instead of a phone jack. IP Phone sets can not be interchanged with traditional phone sets.
ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) devices allow traditional phone sets or fax machines to be used alongwith VoIP based services.
Yes, so long the IP phone sets are within gTalk PBX approved make and models. Every model/series of IP phone set are different and need to be programmed to work with gTalk PBX system. gTalk PBX has standardized few series of CISCO and Grandstream IP phone sets. In the future some more variety will be added.

No, gTalk PBX services purchased at full published rate is a month-to-month service. However customized/negotiated service rates require service commitment for one to three years.
gTalk PBX system is highly scalable and upgrades are delivered at short notice. You subscribe additional extensions and purchase IP phone sets on line. The added extensions can be up and running within hours provided the IP Phone sets are at hand. IP phone sets require 5 to 10 business days from order to delivery.
ACH debit, a credit card or a debit card are the three payment systems available for gTalk PBX customers.
In rare case when payment does not get authorized an email notification to the customer's PBX Administrator will be sent out instantly followed by a phone call. If the payment matter is not settled before the new billing cycle starts the service will auto shut down. In such cases the service will be restored within 24 hours following payment of dues plus a $50 service restoration charge is fully made.
gTalk PBX system will send out an email to the concerned Administrator one month in advance of approach of any expiration date of credit card on record. It is the responsibility of the PBX Administrator to update credit card information on record in time to ensure there is no service interruption due to payment glitch.
The user of an existing telephone number has the right to retain the number even if he/she moves within same geographic area and/or changes service provider. This transfer of phone number from one provider to the other by the user of phone number is calls 'Porting of Phone Number' or 'Number Porting'.
Porting of phone number involves a set administrative process conducted by a number of parties. gTalk PBX executes its part ofthe processing within 2 to 3 working hours of receipt of a porting request. The final execution of the porting depends on the speed of action of the other parties involved.
Do NOT cancel your service until your number has been successfully ported to gTalk PBX. Remember a numbers when CANNOT be ported back. So cancellation of account with your former service provider should be done only AFTER the porting has been executed.
Yes, you may port your phone number at any time. However we advise you to check out terms of the existing contract with your current service provider.
You can port any local number, even wireless, as long as we have coverage for that particular area. You can also port your toll free numbers.
You will need to send us a Letter of Authorization (LOA) to port your number. This form will be sent to you from the Agent/Sales Representative that is processing your order.
In order to fill out this form you will need the following information:
- Your First and Last Name (in case of company, the name of the responsible person)
- Company Name (if the number(s) belong to a company)
- Current Service Address (As it is listed with your current service provider)
- Current Service Provider
- Numbers to be Ported
- Billing TelephoneNumber (BTN)-This is the main billing number on your account that all of your numbers may be listed under. Please note that it is possible to have several different BTN's depending on how your existing account is set up.
- Printed name and signature of the responsible person of your account.
In addition to the LOA, you will also need to submit a copy of your most recent bill from your current phone provider.
In such an event your sales gTalk representative will provide you with instructions on how to resolve the issue. Rejections are routinely caused due to incorrect or incomplete porting information in the LOA. So fill out the LOA accurately and completely.
On the proting date, at the specified time, your ports will be executed and you should not experience any service downtime as long as you are setup correctly in gTalk PBX system.
On the day of porting and following execution of porting your installation specialist will make some test calls and declare to you all is clear for commercial service.
